Employee Memo

In an effort to further support the health and well-being of our employees, we are pleased to announce that  effective February 1, 2017 Spectrum Society will be covering 50% of the cost of Long Term Disability (LTD) Premiums.  In the event of an LTD claim, the benefits you receive on a monthly basis will remain non-taxable because the portion of premium that Spectrum pays will be a taxable benefit.

The above change is in addition to last month’s  announcement regarding our new Health and Dental Benefits provider, Manulife Financial, also effective February 1, 2017.
