An art exhibition inspired by Elizabeth Gilbert’s best selling botanical novel.

Exhibition Opening: The Signature of All Things

Opening reception: Sunday, October 2 | 1 to 4 pm

Mark your calendars for Sunday, October 2nd, and join us in the Garden’s Discovery Room for the opening of a month-long exhibition of original artwork created by the Open Book Art Collective and inspired by Elizabeth Gilbert’s novel, The Signature of All Things.

View the work and meet the artists. Then, satisfy your inner botanist with a closer look at some plant matter through one of our microscopes. Attendees will have the chance to enter to win one annual household membership with the Vancouver Art Gallery and a copy of Embracing Canada: Landscapes from Krieghoff to the Group of Seven to continue to grow your love of art and nature.

The Open Book Art Collective is a Vancouver-based group of emerging artists brought together by their shared interest in creating dialogue with art objects that are both informed by and informing the literature that they reference.
